A Vintage Affair

The words wedding fair would normally send a little shiver down my spine – inciting memories my own trauma as B2B trawling my way round travel lodges and trestle tables for ‘inspiration’, only to have to flee to the nearest pub for an antidote to the tantrum inducing token fizz that had been forced upon me on paying my entrance fee. So when our invitation to this little event first dropped into our inbox we didn’t think much about it until I saw those two little words… “Vintage” “Emporium”.¬†Hmmm, now we’re talking!
Well organisers Beth of Be Vintage and Alex a.k.a. The Bijou Bride certainly knew what they were doing and they pulled it off with style. Big vintage military hats off to them. The placed was brimming with inspiration from unique suppliers buried amongst the curious and wonderful surroundings of the fleetville vintage emporium. With a relaxed vibe and the sun shining – the camperbooth was ready for action…
The fashion parades, live music and afternoon tea spilled out into the yard, where we were thrilled to be situated next to the tea shop. It was great setting for our debut as photo shoot prop at the talented hands of Becky Rui whose model bride & groom brigade made their way through the booth afterwards.
Thanks to everyone who popped in for a picture, especially Milo the dog who pulled some poses for our first puppy portrait in the booth!!
With such a great selection of suppliers and savvy couples this was no ordinary wedding fair… but A Vintage Wedding Affair to remember!
